I employed ICU to search for my missing brother whom we hadn't heard from in forty-nine years. We thought that he had passed and we simply wanted closure. Previously we had done extensive searches on the internet using free and paid services without a positive result. The search was made difficult because my brother used four different common names and apparently two different social security numbers. Within a week ICU found my brother alive in Chicago! However we still did not have a permanent address or telephone number. Our initial attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. But the investigators at ICU did not give up. They managed to determine that he would be at a specific location at a specific time and informed me of the same. Two days later I found myself on a flight to Chicago. After overnighting at a local hotel I staked out the location where ICU stated my brother would arrive to attend to local municipal business. The time arrived and passed with no luck. I was just about to give up when I recognized my seventy-four year old brother limping up the steps. I approached him and attempted to communicate. After several attempts the stunning realization came to him that I was actually his brother whom he had not seen in so many years. Our time together was not long, however I shared the intimate information and photos of our parents, my children, our relatives, etc. We vowed to keep in contact. What a miraculous reunion.
